Annual Survey

Providing peace of mind for family and residents

At Acorn Court, it always makes us proud to hear that our care has given a family back their peace of mind, providing reassurance that their loved one is happy and safe. In order to give the best possible care, we use a variety of ways to regularly gather feedback from our residents and those closest to them. We listen intently to our residents and their family members in our anonymous annual survey. We deeply value their feedback and it is used to continually improve our service.

This is the heart-warming response to our 2023/2024 survey

Kindness, dignity and respect

100% of residents said that they are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. It is important to us that we extend the same support to families, so we were pleased that 95% of relatives said they are made to feel welcome when they visit, while 100% of residents said they are happy living here. One resident told us: “This home is excellent in every way.”

Compassionate, personalised care

Our skilled team receives on-going training and support so they can provide the high-quality dementia care that residents deserve. We’re delighted that 95% of families feel the team provides the care residents need, and ten out of ten residents feel team members know them, their likes and dislikes well. One family member told us: “I have found the care and compassion to be excellent. Staff always friendly and ready to help”.

A happy home

Our home encourages friendships and connections through a variety of meaningful activities. Ten out of ten residents said they are supported to take part in activities and hobbies. One family member said: “Always very welcoming, lovely atmosphere and kind, familiar staff. Always lots going on”.
